Mogadishu (PP News Desk) — Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency agents today got into a fistfight with Immigration Department Staff at Mogadishu International Airport.
Disagreement over the process to search foreign visitors for NISA reportedy resulted in the scufflle. The Immigration Department staff at the airport insisted the foreign visitors would go through the standard search process before leaving the airport. Several desks and windows got smashed during the fight between the two groups.
The Director of the Citizenship and Immigration Department Colonel Mohammed Adan Kofi arrived at the airport and diffused the tension.
The Immigration Department is affiliated with the National Intelligence and Security Agency.
