Garowe ( PP News ) An Air Djibouti plane at Garowe Airport earlier in the morning veered off the runway before smoke billowed out of one of its engines.
The accident response unit at the airport reached out to the airport fire service only to find that the fire engine has had flat tyres.
Garowe Airport administration reportedly failed to purchase new tyres for the fire engine. The airport managers suspended all departures and arrivals.
A source told Puntland Post that the Puntland Aviation Ministry will launch an investigation into the accident.
