Bosaso (PP News Desk) — A new influx of Yemeni refugees arrived in Bosaso, the commercial city of Puntland earlier today.
The forty nine refugee families were transfered to a centre for registration run by Puntland Interior Ministry.
Refugees will remain at the registration centre for several weeks before a resettlement programme starts to enable them to live in Bosaso or other cities in Puntland.
Qardho hosts the largest number of Yemeni refugees who fled the civil war in Yemen.
Most Yemeni refugees travel from Aden and Mukallah, two port cities in South Yemen.
