BACKGROUND
The Jarriiban University (hereinafter referred to as “JU”) is a non-profit making private university established in 2019. The JU main campus is located in the corner of Jarriiban city specially the East. The university has its building with classroom block, Auditorium, Administration and Finance block, library, Health Science Lab. JU is committed to spreading beneficial knowledge that is easily affordable and will benefit not only individual students but also empower entire communities. The university provides equal opportunity for all students and makes earning a degree a real possibility even for the neediest of students.
IT Teacher Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan Lessons According to Curriculum Standards.
- Stay Abreast of Latest IT Trends.
- Perform Regular Hardware and Software Updates on Classroom IT Devices.
- Monitor Student Progress Through Administrating Assignments, Checking, grading projects, Quizzes, Tests, and examinations
- Instructing in a manner that develops students’ confidence in their abilities.
- Observing and managing classroom dynamics.
- Downloading important software updates and maintaining hardware.
- Attending parent-teacher and faculty conferences.
- Ensuring that the computer laboratory remains free from food and drink at all times.
- Keep Track of Student Grades.
EDUCATION:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum: At least five (5) years’ teachings in related field.
Deadline: from 22/July/2021 and closing date 15/August/2021.
LANGUAGE:
- Somalia Mother tongue (the first language)
- Fluency in English is required (essential)
- Any other language is desirable
