Qatar Red Crescent Society
Qatar Red Crescent is a volunteer charitable organization that was established in March, 1978. It was an internationally recognized in 1981 by the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva, and joined the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent in the same year. Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) officially started working in Somalia on 2011. QRCS is implementing humanitarian intervention; livelihood, emergency life saving and developmental projects.
QRCS is currently implementing Multi Sectoral Emergencies Intervention Program in South-Central and North Regions in Somalia.
