Reaffirming its strong commitment to the decision taken by the National Leadership Forum on 22-25 June 2016 meeting pertaining to the Agreed Formula for the distribution of the Upper House Seats for Northern Regions of Somalia, the Puntland Government strongly condemns the unilateral decision (Dated 10/11/2016 – Ref#1449/10/9/16) taken by the Former Speaker of the Federal Parliament Hon Mohamed Sheikh Osman (Jawari) that are undermining the political power-sharing and the on-going National Election process.
