Islamic Relief Worldwide is an International humanitarian organization that has been working in Puntland since 2006. We are committed to achieving our core vision of caring for the people of concern in all countries where we work. Our goal is to provide vulnerable communities in Puntland with access to basic needs including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Basic Health services and Livelihood Support.
Islamic Relief Somalia started Water Infrastructure Development for Livelihood Enhancements (WIDLEN project) that will support 7,200 extremely drought affected vulnerable households (43,000 individuals) in the target area of Puntland state of Somalia who are severely suffering from water scarcity due to geological and geophysical complexity. The project will reduce water shortage for the pastoralists and rural communities and will provide clean and fresh water for them. 60% of these will be female headed households whose are pastoralist and moving around for water. Through this intervention natural springs will be developed; water pan will be constructed for both water provision for HH use and for agro-farming.

Interested eligible contractors with sound capacity, relevant experience in similar work of construction, rehabilitation and Solar systems installation activities and duly registered as eligible contractors are here by invited to collect tender document from Islamic Relief Garowe Office.
Requirements for Tender Documents
- Tender envelop should be sealed with reference number and stamped.
- Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address.
- Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 3 months). With full details of account movement and enough balance
- Quotation price.
- Valid Registration from ministry of public works.
- Valid Commercial License from the Ministry of Commerce.
- Tender Board Registration.
- Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance.
- Evidence of Past Experience in a similar work.
All bids should be written in English.
Tender Duration and Deadline
Tender document with detail specification and terms and conditions will be at logistic unit of Islamic Relief Garowe office at free of cost from March 26 to April 1, 2020 (05:00 PM)… The deadline for submitting bids is 1st April, 2020 at 05:00PM and any tender or documents received later than this date and time will not be accepted. The sealed envelopes should be dropped at Islamic Relief Garowe Office Tender Box at below address.
