Boosaaso (PP News Desk) — The Puntland Government on Thursday sent soldiers wounded in the ISIS terrorist attack on Dharjaale in the Bari region abroad for medical treatment.

The Committee for Supporting and Health Care Assistance for the Anti-Terror Operation, tasked with implementing the presidential directive, facilitated the transport of the injured soldiers requiring medical treatment abroad.

Last week, Puntland State launched an anti-terror operation against ISIS hideouts in the mountainous areas of Bari. More than 1,200 ISIS fighters from different nationalities are believed to be based there. It is the largest anti-terror operation against the proscribed group, which is planning attacks against citizens.
