Garowe (PP News Desk) — The Chairman of Federal Electoral Implementation Team Muuse Geelle confirmed today that hackers had taken control social media accounts and the official website of FEIT.
In a statement for the media co-signed by FEIT Commissioners, Geelle stated that press conference will be the main method of communicating with the public on election developments. It is the second time hackers have taken control of the digital presence of FEIT. Election of MPs is being conducted throughout Somalia.
The communication failures facing the electoral body might compound election delays resulting from contentious parliamentary seats.
