Garowe (PP News Desk) — Puntland State University students successfully manufactured 15, 000 bottles of hand sanitisers and 11, 000 facemasks.
PSU Health Science Laboratory pioneered the manufacturig process with a grant from Oxfam through its local implementing partner, Kaalo.

Puntland Minister for Commerce Abdullahi Abdi Hersi, who attended the ceremony to launch PSU products for Covid-19 prevention, urged “other universities in Somalia to follow in the footsteps of PSU to conduct research into other challenges such as poverty and corruption.”
