(PP News Desk) — The Former Federal Minister for Interior Abdi Farah Said (Juha) briefly assessed the legacy of his former boss, Hassan Ali Kheire, the former Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, who unceremoniously sacked the former Minister.
Juha’s four-point assessment of Kheire was posted in Facebook. “Kheire was the longest-serving PM since since 1960s; he maintained closer ties with the President to a point of unaccountablity; he was the first Prime Minister to lose a Vote of Confidence within seven minutes without MPs having their palms greased; and the only former Prime Minister who was refused to hand over responsibility to a new Prime Minister”, Juha wrote.
The Former Prime Minister has declared his candidacy for the Somali Predidency. Indirect elections will take place in Somalia next year if Federal Institutions are not granted term extension.
The New Prime Minister, Mohamed Hussein Roble, and his soon-to-be formed government have only four months to prepare Somalia for elections.
