Dhuusamareeb (PP News Desk) — The President of Galmudug State Ahmed Abdi Kariye has given an account of priorities for his administration.
In a speech he delivered last night in Dhuusamareeb President Kariye stressed restoring peace to Galmudug.“Liberation of areas in Galmudug still under the terrorists is urgent. In those areas Al-shabaab denied citizens their right to peace, education and health care” Kariye said.“My adminstration is committed to ending inter-clan clashes in Galmudug and subsequent feuding. It is unacceptable to shed the blood of innocent people in feuding. Any person who commits a crime will face justice. Land disputes will be prevented. Only people with planning permission or can start construction ” Galmudug President said.
President Kariye said that he would continue reconciliation efforts to make necessary concessions to stakeholders with whom he has had political differences following Galmudug presidential election held several months ago. “We will address fair and reasonable complants” President Kariye concluded.
