Somali Small and Medium Enterprise Facility
The Somali Small and Medium Enterprises Facility (SMEF) is part of the World Bank’s Somali Core Economic Institutions and Opportunities (SCORE) Program with the objective to improve the enabling environment of the private and financial sector by catalyzing private sector investments and job creation across the Somali peninsula. Component two of the SCORE Program focuses on Expanding Economic Opportunities through two support mechanisms: 1. The Somali Business Catalytic Fund (SBCF) and 2. SMEF.
